HOW TO SAVE UP FOR A LAPTOP IN THREE(3) MONTHS
We have agreed that this year we need to buy a laptop then learn laptop skills right?
Since we don't yet have money how about we start saving up for it. So a good laptop is somewhere around k3500 - k5000.
We are going to save a maximum of k100, we will create a table starting from k1 all the way to k100. We will label each box with its appropriate amount see picture below for illustrations.
When we deposit an amount in our Savings place (bank, mobile money, Jar, piggy bank, etc) we cross off that amount from our table. If we deposit a k20 we place an X on the k20 in the box.
This plan is to run for 3 months. That is;
100 + 99 + 98 + 97.........2 + 1 = k5050
Our task now is to find something that we can do that is capable of giving us a k100 everyday for three(3) months.
Don't say you can't do it once you say it your mind will find reasons to make you live your prophecy. Instead ask yourself this question;
What can I do to make k5050 in three(3) months?
- force yourself to come up with at least 20 answers to that question. ( learnt that technique from Brian Tracy)
* I need another job
* I can wash cars at uncles bar
* I can sell my old clothes
* I can ask aunty Lucy to send me k50
* I can do errands for a fee
* I can sell my other phone
* I can sell my knowledge
* I can teach people how to protect their Facebook accounts so that it doesn't ever get hacked again
* Etc
You brainstorm until you give yourself at least 20 answers to that question then choose from your answers and start implementing, what works you do more of it, what doesn't you throw it away.

Your excuse not to attempt this maybe valid but it won't help you improve your life.
