1) Yo Maps Yo has undoubtedly had a successful year having released his 'Try Again' album which will go down as one of Zambia's most successful albums of all time. His recent song 'So Mone' is the quickest song to ever reach 5 million views on YouTube in less than a month.
2) Chef 187 's album was the first album to be released this year in January and has been the most successful Hip Hop album in the country in terms of streams. The previous year had been a bit quiet for the 'Ba Yubu' hitmaker but he took the following one by storm.
3) Jae Voiceyodula Cash has had a fruitful year with him being the most featured Hip Hop artist together with his label mate Dizmo. Apa ili so have dominated the Hip Hop scene this year. His song 'People Like Me' is one of the biggest songs this year.
4) Neo Slayer released his 'Situationships' album which is the 3rd most streamed album on Boomplay this year and has had several big songs like 'A Woman's Prayer' and 'Falling'
5) Dizmo has had a very impactful year, his been featured on a number of big songs. He even won an award at the Kwacha Music Awards as the best artist in Lusaka.
6) Triple M has been a force to reckon with and has had a number of successful releases and features, also had the best performance at the Diamond TV Awards. He continues to rise and make waves in the industry.
7) Y Celeb Super Government has always been consistent and this year released his debut album 'Zambia Kuchalo' among other successful releases like 'Soldier' & 'Lesa Talala Pamyenu' which were all big hits.
8) Vinchenzo has been very consistent and even dropped a project this year too. His one of those artists who have been working for a longtime and is now reaping his rewards. His style is quite unique from most and sort of created his own sound.
9) ΠILLA might not be the most famous artist but his Zambia's most streamed artist this year, with total streams which amount to 100 million on all platforms. This is because of his collaboration with Connor Price (a Canadian rapper), he also featured on a Globe Cypher which featured rappers from Brazil, Japan, India, South Africa, Canada, Germany and Netherlands. Word has it that he had the best verse. His also one of Zambia's best song writers that has written for many.
10) Macky 2 a legend of the game, still stays relevant because he released a 10 of 10 Album which had various artists, 6 of which want on to win Awards. His TV show King Buga also won an award in Nigeria and also had one of the biggest songs of the year 'Mutima Wanga'
