Artist Biography
Ammiel Mapalo Mulengo - known by her stage name Ammiel is a gifted and passionate upcoming artist from Muchinga Province, Zambia. Born on November 23, 1997, in Mpika District, Ammiel completed her secondary education before moving on to pursue higher education at a prominent college, all while nurturing her love for music.
From a young age, Ammiel admired the artists she saw on stage, though she lacked the courage to sing herself. After graduating high school in 2014, she began writing songs, gradually developing her skills despite early challenges. In 2016, Ammiel relocated to Lusaka for college, where her passion for music grew. She joined the praise team at Royal Family Church in Chalala, Lusaka, where her talent blossomed as she frequently led worship songs as the sole female vocalist. When the church closed, she joined Trinity Chapel Zambia, where she gained valuable vocal training that further fueled her dream.
With growing confidence, Ammiel saved up to record her debut single, When You Are Mine, in 2023, marking a major milestone in her music journey. She now lives in Nakonde District, Muchinga Province, where she continues to work on her music.
Ammiel’s influence extends online through her two YouTube channels: Ammiel and Beyond One Voice—one of Zambia's top gospel lyrics channels. She is an inspiring artist dedicated to sharing her message and uplifting others through her music.
